Time for the next step..
We had now built a small but solid business with regular local customers and tourists returning each year looking forward to a Thai delivery on there holiday. We had out grown our home Kitchen and needed to expand.. We drew up plans for a self contained unit to be sited in our garden to the side of our home. But saddly we met great opposition to the idea with our neighbours and planning was not passed.
But we were determined it was time for us to move forward..
When we ran Jumunjy in Thailand many of our customers told us about food stalls at festivals in the UK and said if you ever move back you should have a stall..
Now with a successful small business but still no backing from the bank, we had to make a decision to restrict our business or expand with our own funds and go for it…
We booked a pitch at the The Porthleven Food Festival, and I started building a food stall..
First we needed a new logo and kit!!

Screen Tec Design printed all our kit in Jumunjy Green! http://www.screentechdesign.co.uk
Next we needed a van, we found a Renault Master Van that was perfect for the job..

With the Van sorted it was time to make the stall front. It had to be light and packable so I built it with water pipe painted like bamboo..

Now with the stall front built time to build the equipment..
