Welcome to jumunjy
From first glance we are a traditional 16th century Cornish stone building used for many years as Cury’s Post Office.. But step through the door and you are transported to a tropical island paradise with living plant wall, giant bamboo and comfy seating areas all decorated with reclaimed local treasures Thai Style.
Jumunjy began in 2003 on the island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand, we have recreated our Island Beach Bar for you in the heart of the Lizard Peninsula.
Jumunjy’s new home on the Lizard makes it the most Southerly Thai Restaurant in the UK.

Jumunjy is a relaxed Restaurant, a timeless place for you to Eat & Drink, dreaming of your travels in Southeast Asia past and future. We have an Extensive Menu filled with all the Thai faves you would expect, and lots you have yet to try. Phansa the Head Chef and Owner lives for cooking and cooks for you as she would her family.. Every effort is made to make sure all dishes are cooked with original Thai ingredients, to traditional family recipes. We have an extensive menu with many dishes from spicy to zero spice, options for vegans and a children’s menu.
Our dishes are complimented by Fresh Cornish Veg, Fresh Fish from Newlyn harbour and Beef from Boscarnon Farm, a local farmer that keeps a herd of freerange Ruby’s that are grass and forage feed.

Drinks at Jumumjy Cocktail Bar
Jumunjy Bar is open to all no booking necessary just pop in for a cold drink or Thai snack. We have a DJ booth in the bar and garden we hold regular music events on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Guest Djs are welcome pop in for chat. We can also help organize celebrations. Please follow jumunjy promotions for event info.
We have a wide range of spirits from Rums to Whisky’s, Tequilas & Mezcals. Me love to make a cocktail too.. Our wine selection is supplied by North Coast Wines a small independent business who work exclusively with bespoke and artisan producers, purchasing directly from the vine yards. Each bottle comes with its own story of provenance and pairing recommendations.
We hold a wide range of Thai & Western beers & ciders, by draught and bottle. Evan our Own brand Jumunjy Juice Cider, Jumunjy Beer & Our own Thai IPA brewed just for you by Shoals in Porthleven.
We are very excited to announce that Singha Beer of Thailand have supplied us Draft Beer Ice Towers for you to enjoy pouring your own draught beer at your table, or out in the sunshine in our tropical garden.
